About

Short Biography

Born a Jersey girl, Hannah moved to Chicago to attend Columbia College, where she graduated cum laude with a BA in Fiction Writing. She stayed after graduation to work as Assistant Publisher at  The Printed Blog, and help get the start-up Kumbuya, off the ground and through its first round of funding. But she missed the beach, so she moved home to Jersey with a fiance and two cats in tow. She lives, reads, and writes YA fiction, and aims to take on publishing in NYC. When she’s not working, you can find her with a coffee in hand, her nose in a book, or shouting obscenities at the tv during NFL and NHL seasons. (NY Giants & Chicago Blackhawks, respectively). You can find a collection of her musings on her blog.

Working with Hannah at Kumbuya was a pleasure. She was one of the most thoughtful and organized team members. Hannah helped us form the basic idea and get it off the ground. She’s able to work well in an unstructured (read: startup) environment and is willing to take initiative. It was a bummer when Hannah decided to move back to the East Coast, and if I had the opportunity, I’d certainly hire her again.

CEO, Founder

During my time as guest fashion editor for The Printed Blog, I reported directly to Hannah; she managed my work for the magazine almost exclusively. Hannah was a joy to work with – she is naturally authoritative yet approachable, highly organized with strong time-management skills, good at communicating what she wants and managing to fulfill her quota while accommodating others, and, most importantly (in my opinion), she is enthusiastic and passionate, a creative inspiration to all who work with her.

Guest Editor, Fashion

Hannah is a joy to work with because she’s not only highly professional but she works hard and conveys her company’s message well. Working under her as a contributing writer for The Printed Blog was wonderful because she was easy to get a hold of, extremely helpful, polite, and returned email inquiries fast. She has everything it takes to represent a company, and exceed their standards.
